Grosso modo, que seul deux des sept endroits où se sont réveilllés les Pères des Nains sont connus des Hommes et de Elfes.

Forfirith:
Je suppose que Tolkien voyait pour les Nains le même destin que les Hobbits et les Elfes dans notre monde: presque effacés, discrets, invisibles aux yeux des êtres humains balourds que nous sommes.
Quant aux Orcs, ils n'ont pas disparu après la Guerre de l'Anneau, ils ont simplement été désorganisés et réduits en nombre pendant un temps :)
